    Jason Bateman (the “Horrible Bosses” films, TV’s “Arrested Development,” “Ozark”) and Oscar nominee Rachel McAdams (“Spotlight,” “Dr. Strange”) team up in New Line Cinema’s action comedy “Game Night.” John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein are directing the film, marking their second film as co-directors, following “Vacation.”

    Joining Bateman and McAdams in the cast are Billy Magnussen (“Bridge of Spies,” TV’s “American Crime Story”), Sharon Horgan (Amazon’s “Catastrophe”), Lamorne Morris (TV’s “New Girl”), Kylie Bunbury (TV’s “Pitch,” “Under the Dome”), Jesse Plemons (“Black Mass,” TV’s “Fargo”), Danny Huston (“Wonder Woman,” “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), Chelsea Peretti (TV’s “Brooklyn Nine-Nine”), with Michael C. Hall (TV’s “Dexter” and “Six Feet Under”) and Kyle Chandler (“Manchester by the Sea,” TV’s “Bloodline”).

    Bateman and McAdams star as Max and Annie, whose weekly couples game night gets kicked up a notch when Max’s charismatic brother, Brooks (Chandler), arranges a murder mystery party, complete with fake thugs and faux federal agents. So when Brooks gets kidnapped, it’s all part of the game…right? But as the six uber-competitive gamers set out to solve the case and win, they begin to discover that neither this “game”—nor Brooks—are what they seem to be. Over the course of one chaotic night, the friends find themselves increasingly in over their heads as each twist leads to another unexpected turn. With no rules, no points, and no idea who all the players are, this could turn out to be the most fun they’ve ever had…or game over.

    “Game Night” is written by Mark Perez (“Accepted”). John Davis (“Joy”), John Fox (TV’s “The Blacklist”), Jason Bateman and Jim Garavente (“Bad Words”) are producing. Serving as executive producers are Marc S. Fischer, Richard Brener, Michael Disco and Dave Neustadter.

    The behind-the-scenes team includes director of photography Barry Peterson (“Central Intelligence,” “We’re the Millers”), Oscar-nominated production designer Michael Corenblith (“How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “Apollo 13”), editors Jamie Gross (“Vacation”), Gregory Plotkin (“Get Out”) and David Egan (“Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return”), and costume designer Debra McGuire (“Vacation,” “Ted”).

    The film will be released worldwide beginning February 23, 2018.
    “Game Night” is a New Line Cinema presentation and will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment company.

    Rated R for language, sexual references and some violence.

    00:00:01.407 --> 00:00:07.199
    We’re down to two teams so for double points, what is the name of the purple Teletubby?

    00:00:07.187 --> 00:00:08.229
    Tinky Winky!

    00:00:08.271 --> 00:00:09.729
    You’re both correct.

    00:00:09.979 --> 00:00:11.729
    He always carried a…

    00:00:11.729 --> 00:00:12.854
    Red purse.

    00:00:15.979 --> 00:00:19.896
    Max is very competitive, as am I. It’s one of the reasons I fell in love with him.

    00:00:20.021 --> 00:00:22.146
    Oh it’s easy he was, uh, Incredible Hulk.

    00:00:22.146 --> 00:00:22.271
    Eric Bana.

    00:00:22.771 --> 00:00:23.229
    Other one!

    00:00:23.271 --> 00:00:23.896
    Mark Ruffalo.

    00:00:24.271 --> 00:00:25.062
    Lou Ferrigno.

    00:00:25.062 --> 00:00:25.979
    Primal fear!

    00:00:25.979 --> 00:00:27.646
    Richard Gere never played The Incredible Hulk.

    00:00:27.646 --> 00:00:28.271
    Time!

    00:00:28.271 --> 00:00:29.812
    Jesus Christ Ed Norton.

    00:00:29.812 --> 00:00:30.854
    Oh!

    00:00:30.854 --> 00:00:32.146
    Primal fear!

    00:00:32.146 --> 00:00:32.979
    Yeah, right!

    00:00:33.562 --> 00:00:35.812
    Guys, what do you say we do this at my house next week?

    00:00:36.104 --> 00:00:38.604
    This will be a game night to remember.

    00:00:38.979 --> 00:00:39.437
    Oh boy.

    00:00:39.437 --> 00:00:40.271
    mm.

    00:00:42.521 --> 00:00:44.979
    Tonight, we’re taking game night up a notch.

    00:00:47.771 --> 00:00:49.729
    We don’t need a board and we do not need pieces.

    00:00:49.729 --> 00:00:52.146
    We won’t need any extra rudeness, either.

    00:00:53.062 --> 00:00:55.062
    Someone in this room is going to be taken.

    00:00:55.062 --> 00:00:56.812
    Aw, it’s a murder mystery party.

    00:00:56.812 --> 00:00:57.604
    Fun!

    00:00:57.604 --> 00:00:58.812
    Whoever finds the victim

    00:00:58.812 --> 00:01:00.271
    wins the grand prize

    00:01:00.354 --> 00:01:01.604
    the keys to the stingray.

    00:01:02.771 --> 00:01:03.729
    Just the keys?

    00:01:04.146 --> 00:01:05.562
    No, Ryan. The whole car.

    00:01:05.562 --> 00:01:06.729
    Aw, yes!

    00:01:07.604 --> 00:01:09.812
    Just wanna wish you the best of luck tonight.

    00:01:09.812 --> 00:01:10.562
    Bye!

    00:01:11.271 --> 00:01:12.104
    Baby hand me those matches

    00:01:12.104 --> 00:01:13.479
    I’m about to burn this door down.

    00:01:13.479 --> 00:01:16.271
    You’re gonna light a fire in a windowless room that we’re trapped in?

    00:01:16.687 --> 00:01:18.271
    Why you gotta make my idea sound stupid?

    00:01:19.354 --> 00:01:21.354
    You’re not gonna know what’s real

    00:01:21.771 --> 00:01:22.937
    and what’s fake.

    00:01:22.937 --> 00:01:23.687
    Ah!

    00:01:23.771 --> 00:01:24.479
    Ah!

    00:01:24.729 --> 00:01:26.062
    Is this gun real?

    00:01:26.062 --> 00:01:27.021
    Oh-oh no, Annie.

    00:01:27.021 --> 00:01:28.812
    Oh no – bang, bang.

    00:01:28.812 --> 00:01:30.812
    Ah!

    00:01:30.937 --> 00:01:31.604
    ow!

    00:01:31.604 --> 00:01:34.229
    Oh my god, I shot you!

    00:01:34.229 --> 00:01:35.062
    What the...

    00:01:36.146 --> 00:01:38.562
    I’ve always enjoyed the camaraderie of good friends.

    00:01:38.562 --> 00:01:41.604
    Often we don’t appreciate what we have until it’s gone.

    00:01:42.979 --> 00:01:45.312
    Oh, because your wife left you?

    00:01:45.312 --> 00:01:46.437
    Ah, shit

    00:01:52.979 --> 00:01:53.521
    Ah!

    00:01:58.729 --> 00:02:00.187
    Oh, sh...

    00:02:00.187 --> 00:02:01.729
    so we take a little bath.

    00:02:02.812 --> 00:02:04.021
    Aw, it’s so much worse.

    00:02:08.437 --> 00:02:09.271
    Ok.

    00:02:11.312 --> 00:02:13.437
    I have one idea it’s so crazy it just might work.

    00:02:14.604 --> 00:02:17.312
    You’re gonna crash the car into the plane like Liam Neeson in Taken 3?

    00:02:17.312 --> 00:02:18.687
    He did that in Taken 3, huh?

    00:02:18.812 --> 00:02:20.562
    Ah!

    00:02:22.312 --> 00:02:24.396
    Uh, you missed it.

    00:02:24.396 --> 00:02:25.521
    Thanks baby.

    00:02:27.771 --> 00:02:29.771
    This is instructions on how to remove a bullet.

    00:02:29.771 --> 00:02:31.146
    They didn’t have rubbing alcohol

    00:02:31.146 --> 00:02:32.646
    so I got you this lovely Chard.

    00:02:32.646 --> 00:02:33.854
    Good idea, way to pivot.

    00:02:34.229 --> 00:02:36.562
    What is helpful in Country Living?

    00:02:36.562 --> 00:02:38.604
    Oh, that’s for later there's a

    00:02:38.604 --> 00:02:40.229
    corn chowder recipe that looks really good.

    00:02:40.229 --> 00:02:40.687
    oh

    00:02:40.687 --> 00:02:41.604
    you love corn chowder, huh?

    00:02:41.604 --> 00:02:42.354
    sweet I do ya.

    00:02:42.354 --> 00:02:42.771
    That’ll cheer ya up.

    00:02:42.771 --> 00:02:43.021
    Thank you.
