For my fourth course, I wanted to try something a bit different. Inspired by some of the "sit-back, run, and watch stuff happen" courses I had seen, I decided that I wanted to try creating something where you follow a spiny as it passes through its own series of obstacles. I thought it'd be most interesting if it were interactive, though, so I built it such that you have to help the spiny get to the end to be able to move forward yourself
At first, I tried to focus on a spinning shell, but it started to seem like there wasn't much that I could do with it, especially with it moving so fast. I eventually came up with a few ideas that'd work best with a walking spiny, but I also still wanted a later area where you had to chase after his spinning shell. Without a way to automatically change the spiny to spinning shell state, I had to settle with creating a "part 2" using a sub-area
There are no bonuses this time, just follow the spiny, keep it moving forward, relieve it of its cargo only when necessary, and don't let it get lost or destroyed (except for when you need to borrow its clown car...)
