    Description

One thing I've always liked about TF2 is that the monetization system is completely cosmetic... or is it? Well, as it turns out, there are several items that cost money and are direct upgrades from their counterpart; "pay to win," you might say. The upgrades are usually minimal and the items are dirt cheap, but for a game commonly lauded as having zero pay to win elements, I think it's fun to go through all of the weird edge cases that somehow made it through the game's numerous updates.

Also thanks to TheWhat Show for donating his very crunchy Kiriko footage for science, as well as SpaceGuyOnline and CyberWizard for helping with the multiplayer bits.

Also yes, I know not all of the weapons, taunts, and et cetera mentioned in the video are game breaking enough to realistically be called "pay to win." This video moreso serves the purpose of compiling all of the items with weird quirks that make them direct upgrades and nature; "pay to win" is just a funny term though and most people know what you mean when you say it.
