Title
Techniques for Responsive Real-Time Web User Interfaces
Description
Web user interfaces have longed for the rich interaction provided by traditional desktop clients. When building Web applications, you face the fact that HTTP, the foundation of the Web, is a request/response protocol. Real-time information delivery is fast emerging as one of the most important elements of our online experience. The gap is closing, thanks to an entourage of HTML5 technologies and techniques. This session explores ways to make Web applications more responsive to user interactions and data from the server.
