Proactive Monitoring for Cloud Native Apps with OCI APM

Cloud native applications utilize containers, microservices, serverless computing, and other technologies constructed together to deliver agile and scalable solutions. These applications tend to be deployed on an ever-growing number of components. Failure of any component can affect performance, functionality, and ultimately detract from the end user experience.

In this session we will explain and demonstrate how you can use OCI’s Application Performance Monitoring to:
• proactively monitor performance and availability with synthetic monitoring
• use distributed tracing to track execution of every transaction instance from browser to server to storage
• triage a problem and drilldown to the line of code to identify its root cause
