Password Aging and Su Command on Oracle Linux

This video demonstrates how to manage password managing and su command on Oracle Linux 8. The commands demonstrated in this video also work for Oracle Linux 9. For Oracle Linux 9, install the 'authselect-compat' package which provides minimum backwards compatibility with the 'authconfig' mentioned in the video.

This video configures password aging and the hashing algorithm, manages and allows use of the su command, explains restricting the use of the su command, and describes the /etc/login.defs file.
