Java Batch for Cost-Optimized Business Efficiency

Companies need batch processing to achieve business efficiency—shipping and claims management are a few examples. Now batch processing is gaining more relevance as the data processed by companies grows, "dedicated batch windows" shrink, and there is a need to obtain access to information as quickly as possible. Java is key in addressing the issues of running a continuous, always-on mixed-workload enterprise environment.

In this session, you'll hear about the role of Java batch for efficient business processing; best practices for using containers to run batch 24/7; and the reuse of services, skills, and infrastructure between enterprise OLTP and batch to better manage costs and simplify architecture.
