    Description

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Email Delivery is an email-sending service that provides a fast and reliable managed solution for sending high-volume emails that need to reach your recipients' inboxes. Email Delivery provides the tools necessary to send application-generated emails for mission-critical communications such as receipts, fraud detection alerts, multi-factor identity verification, and
    password resets.

    IMPORTANT:
At 1:03 it was mentioned to create DKIM and CNAME records and values are created. Just creating an email domain and DKIM for the domain will not make it active.
At 1:24 we ask the customer to create a zone in OCI DNS under Networking.

    1. Creating a DNS zone is actually not required at all if your domain is not hosted in OCI or Oracle.
    2. If your domain is external (DOMAIN.com), then you do not have to update anything in the OCI DNS. Instead, note the DKIM CNAME record and value (1:03) and provide it to the DNS provider (DOMAIN.com’s DNS provider in this case).
    3. Repeat the same steps for SPF as well, where you need to update the TXT record in the DNS (DOMAIN.com’s DNS)
If your domain is hosted in OCI, you need to repeat the same thing from OCI DNS.
