Getting up to Speed on Oracle Java SE Embedded Performance: Tuning Tips and Tricks

Built from the same code base, Oracle Java SE Embedded has much in common with Java SE. But what about performance? Although Java SE Embedded shares the same rich interface of settables for tuning performance, it turns out that actual optimal settings for deploying embedded applications can often be significantly different, given the unique requirements and constraints that apply in embedded environments. This session provides practical tips and tricks to developers for identifying possible root causes of the most-common performance bottlenecks that may be encountered in embedded scenarios and how to effectively address them, also taking advantage of various optimizations built into and unique to the Oracle Java SE Embedded platform.
