Creating New and Innovative Mobile and Web Applications with Network APIs

Description

Telecom service providers are making network capabilities such as payment, location, call control, and messaging accessible to developers via network APIs. This session describes how these SOAP and RESTful Network APIs, based on Parlay X and OneAPI standards, can be used by Java developers to build new and innovative mobile and Web applications. It highlights specific Java examples of creating applications utilizing location to support geographic notifications, OAuth to provide user privacy, and in-app charging to reserve and release funds. In addition, it demonstrates the resulting applications utilizing these APIs, using Web applications running in the cloud.
