Title
Best Practices in Java Enterprise Monitoring
Description
As applications become more service-oriented, interactions within a distributed enterprise application landscape add to the complexity of monitoring and troubleshooting applications. Collaboration of multiple monitoring and logging tools is required to achieve active and passive application monitoring and troubleshooting. To effectively manage such an infrastructure, it is important to monitor each and every application tier. This presentation covers some of the best practices in terms of what to monitor in different types of application environments and how to select the right monitoring tools to achieve real-time, nonintrusive, metrics-driven monitoring that can be utilized for both active and passive monitoring and troubleshooting.
