Automating Your Haunted Dungeon with OSGi

This session offers an introduction to OSGi. The speaker demonstrates OSGI's core capabilities by showing how he used OSGi to create a dynamic pluggable framework for controlling the props in his annual haunted dungeon for Halloween. The individual effects in the haunted scene are implemented as OSGi components called bundles and are integrated to work together via a services framework the OSGi framework provides.
The presentation covers what OSGi is and its key features and shows you how to get started in using OSGi to create a dynamic pluggable architecture for your next application, whether it is a small application running in an embedded computer or a large Web application running in Spring.
